I just installed ESXi 5.1. Every time I start the Client I get the warning that my trial will end in 60 days. I tried to register for the free license but I just got an error saying that the key was already in use. But I still get the license warning every time I log in from client.. What I want to know is. 1. Is ESXi still free. 2. How do I use the free license what will it allow me to do?
